The Center for South Asian Studies at Fudan University

The Center for South Asian Studies(CSAS) was established in 2007, affiliated to the Institute of International Studies at Fudan University. At present, the community  consists of 2 professors , 1 associate professor and Professor ZHANG Jiadongtakes up the post of  Director of the CSAS.

Principal research domains by the CSAS community embrace South Asian politics, economic, diplomatic and security issues after the cold war; the US’ policy on South Asia; the relationship between China and South Asia.
