Biography of Nanthiya Thongkanarak

Visiting Scholar at Center for China’s Relations with Neighboring Countries, Fudan University, Shanghai. 

Researcher at Strategic and Security Research Studies Division, Strategic Studies Center, National Defense Studies Institute, Royal Thai Armed Forces. 

Research Interests: Traditional Security and Non-Traditional Security.

Junior Lieutenant Nanthiya Thongkanarak is aVisiting Scholar at Center for China’s Relations with Neighboring Countries, Fudan University. She is also a researcher at Strategic and Security Research Studies Division, Strategic Studies Center, National Defense Studies Institute, Royal Thai Armed Forces. She achieved her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in 2001 and Master’s Degree in Political Science in 2005 both from Ramkhamhaeng University.

Junior Lieutenant Nanthiya Thongkanarak mainly researches in Traditional Security and Non-Traditional Security. She has published several research papers, case studies and commentaries.
